Event: Recieved letter and resume from LafayetteDates: 1786-03-25 - 1786-03-25Short Description: Jefferson received a letter written from Lafayette on the 18th and/or 19th of March. Enclosed in the letter is a resume of Lafayette's. In the letter Lafayette talks of his dealings with a committee on the trade of tobacco. The Resume is entitled "Resume de mon avis au Comite du Commerce avec Les Etats-Unis lorsque la question des tobacs nous a ete presentee" (sans accent marks).
