Edward BridgenDates: 0000-00-00 - 0000-00-00 (O.S. Birth: 0000-00-00) Short Description: Adams's reference in his diary for April 15, 1786, could quite possibly be to Edward Bridgen, English author and correspondent with Benjamin Franklin. In June 1786, Bridgen wrote to Jefferson in Paris asking him to pass along to the queen of France a book he had written. Jefferson declined, but offered to give the book to the English minister who might be able to present to the queen with more "propriety." Needs to be confirmed and expanded, if possbile.
